how many studies do they need?

Pentagon study dismisses risk of gay troops
---
This is such a ridiculous non-issue that should be a no-brainer and yet it still lingers on. And, of course, once the repugs are back in power, this will never change, so the Dems better do something while they can!

gee, ya think?

Now, along with making up their own current facts, the repugs think they can make up their own history too!

But this is Geller's made-up "controversy" so she has to make sure that no one forgets it.

more palin idiocy

bush - again - admits to a war crime - and the media yawns

In his new memoir, former President Bush “makes clear that he personally approved” the use of waterboarding against 9/11 mastermind Khalid Sheik Mohammed, an admission “human rights experts say could one day have legal consequences for him.” When asked by the CIA if they could proceed with waterboarding Mohammed, Bush writes that his reply was “Damn right.

what a weird night

The repugs won big, proving that the American people have an incredibly short memory and have forgotten that the repugs are the ones who created the disastrous situation that we are in and that the Dems have been trying to pull us out of. Somehow they think that the people who created the problem and going to magically make a difference this time, instead of just adding to the problem. Wish us luck - we are sure going to need it!

But, the real crazies didn't win - Angle, O'Donnell, Paladino and possibly/probably even Joe Miller - proving that the loons are too far out for the average American.

We keep the Senate - barely - and Harry Reid, though he probably would have lost against a sane republican. The House, where most of the hard work has been done over the last 22 months, was lost badly and we now have an orange speaker of the house instead of the historic Pelosi, who has been a strong advocate for the American public.

Hopefully, the Dems have learned that they need to promote their message much better than they have and maybe we can get back to forward progress in 2012. All of the momentum of the last two years will most likely be destroyed by the repugs, so the Dems will have to let people know that this has happened, since they were so bad at letting people know of all of the good they have done.

Considering that we had real facts that we were complaining about during the bush administration and the repugs complaints over the last two years have been entirely imaginary - and in some cases the exact opposite of the facts - Democratic communication really needs to improve. Of course, it would help if we had our own TV station like the repugs do, but the Dems leaders have to come up with something - and quickly!

Go Barney!

we are so fucked

the repugs are going to stop all of the progress that has been made over the last couple of years and will throw us back into the stone age.
Boehner as Speaker of the House - crying, no less! - will fuck this country every way possible.
I just hope we can keep the jobs we were able to find during Obama's recovery from bush's recession.

PLEASE VOTE!

We know what the repugs want to do to this country if they return to power and this country cannot afford that to happen again.

Yes, the Dems have disappointed us time and again, but they really have moved us in a positive direction after 8 years of bush & company fucking us up the ass.

Let's not let the nutjobs run the country!
