more post-election violence in Iraq
Of course, no one at all is surprised by this:

Which just goes to show, regardless of bush's claims of "success" at the elections in Iraq, everything we've done there has been and continues to be a complete failure. The elections went on despite us, not because of us. 44 people died that day! That was considered good! Violence continues because our leaders STILL do not have a plan for a true success and for suppressing the violence and for training Iraqis. We need a plan, we need attainable goals, we need to actually accomplish something other than the destruction of the populated cities. It is actually incredible just how little we have accomplished given the time, money, and lives that we have committed.
