Exactly what would McCain be running on if 911 hadn't happened? That is all that they have spoken about so far tonight. They might as well be replaying the 2004 convention - the same fear mongering, the same bigotry, the same terror talk, hell, almost the same candidate!
But, somehow they actually make the worst attack on our country boring! Are the speakers trying their hardest to be dull in the hopes of making McCain more exciting?
And is the hall still almost half empty?
Uh-oh, the whiner is on stage! Within the first couple of lines, Graham is telling whoppers! He seems to think that we have already won in Iraq and he is calling Lieberman a Democrat! And he expects us to believe that the Dems wanted to lose in Iraq - as if anyone ever - ever - said anything like that.
I guess it's a good thing that Obama has never said any of the bullshit that Gramm is whining about...
Funny - the camerapeople are so desperate to show "diversity" that they are showing the same "minority faces" (among the zillions of white faces) in the audience that they have all week.
Palin is a maverick" now?! Whew! Oh yes, he puts her state first - above our country apparently! The world trembled?! Oh yes, i'm trembling!
Do they really want to bring up the medical group that Cindy McCain stole drugs from due to her addiction?
The McCains should be honored for adopting a child, but could she look any more uncomfortable at being used as a political prop?
