DeLay's lawyer says that Earle tried to get him to cut a deal and indicted him when he refused. In Republican bizarro universe that's somehow evidence of bad faith on Earle's part.

Well, it will work for DeLay if he can worm his way out of this indictment, like he has all the others. I only wish that our legal system worked faster - I can't wait to see what will happen!
