now I know why it's called "spin"

Because the insane lack of logic used for these "discussions" literally make my head spin!
Media Matters reports that David Horowitz tries to "prove" liberal bias on college campuses by literally fabricating a story. When every piece of the story he has told is proven to be false, then he says "our facts were wrong, but our point was right"! Wow, so even though every point he had was wrong, he is still right! No wonder he is defending a student who is complaining about a poor grade received because their answer had nothing to do with the question!
Check out the comments section of the MM post to see people defending Horowitz and saying that this is completely different than Rather using alledgely false documents to substantiate what was known to be a true story - for Rather a document is under suspicion (last I heard it has not been proven to be false) but his facts were correct. Here, even though Horowitz is using that defense, nothing that he says has been true in any way!
Similar to the new stories of yet more weapons being stolen under our supervision in Iraq. The repubs try to say that either they had WMDs or they didn't, so either this story is false or they were right about WMDs! As if there is no difference between WMDs that could be used to attack the American continent or hand held weapons that can be used to kill our troops that are now in their country!
It is pretty amazing how they manage to come up with defenses for the indefensible!
