Fox TV giving advice on objectivity!

From NewHounds :

Diplomacy FOX News Style: Make Other Countries Crack Down On Their Media
Today on Big Story, Mamoun Fandy, from the Baker Institute, was interviewed about the appointment of Karen Hughes as undersecretary of state for public diplomacy, a position designed to improve Islamic views of the United States. His overall advice to her: Make the Arab countries "open up" their broadcasting so that their networks will be less anti-American.

Substitute host Andrew Napolitano asked Fandy who Karen Hughes should talk to first in the middle east.

Fandy: First thing is to talk to Arab governments and tell them to open up the system and allow for free conversation about the United States and we are willing to accept the pros and the cons. Right now what we have is really kind of an active hate of the United States message coming from Al Jazeera network and from Al Arabia and these are inspired by their own governments.

Wow! I know that this wasn't a Fox spokeperson (per se) speaking, but yeesh! How anyone could go on Fox and talk about how another country should handle their media is boggling! Of course, asking a diplomat to demand that other countries restrict their free speech is pretty incredible in and of itself!
