our new director of homeland security

thanks again to angry finger for these 3 posts:

Meet Your New Director of Homeland Security
Bernie Kerik. The administration keeps lauding him for going into Iraq and setting up its police force. But it looks like the bigger question is why did he sign up for a 6 month stint in Iraq training the police force and then pack up and get out after only three months. Why is Bush picking someone to run the DHS who can't fulfill their
obligations to spreading democracy?

Here Come the Stormtroopers
Meet your new Director of Homeland Security part 2.
Finally, Kerik had this to say to critics of the war: "Political criticism is our enemies' best friend." Better keep your mouth shut if you know what's good for you. Keric says that people that don't agree with the administration and speak out against it are haters of freedom.

Family Values
I love how the Bush admin and the GOP push family values when it's convenient. Meanwhile they're some of the most amoral people on earth.
Bernard Kerik, the man tasked with protecting the United States from the threat of terrorist attacks, fathered a daughter with a South Korean woman while serving on the peninsula in the mid-1970s, U.S. media reported over the weekend.
Kerik, who was selected to replace Tom Ridge as secretary of the Homeland Security Department on Thursday, had the baby with a woman identified as Sun-ja after arriving in South Korea as a 19-year-old military policeman in December 1974, according to several reports.
The baby, named Lisa, was born in 1975. But Kerik deserted her and her mother when he left the country in February 1976.
I wonder how Bush and the GOP would have responded if say, oh...Kerry would have fathered a child in Vietnam and then abandoned her? The republicans would never let the dems get away with something like this.

Is EVERYONE in this administration a complete slimeball?!
