reverse racism rears its ugly head again

I am truly sick of the reverse racism that is running rampant on the internet these days. Any disparaging words regarding someone’s service is now twisted to be a condemnation of their racial background!
Bush (or someone) was smart enough to hire ethnic yes men so that any criticism of them would be construed as racist. It doesn’t matter if they’ve lied to the American public so that a war could be started for personal reasons, it doesn’t matter that they condone torture, that they consider the Geneva Convention “quaint”, that they have put us in danger, that they ignored warnings previous to 9/11, etc etc etc....
Anything that we say negatively about Rice, Gonzales, etc, regardless of the facts, shows that liberals are inherently racist. The fact that the left continues to promote civil rights and the “right” continues to disenfranchise and remove rights that have been hard-won, means nothing to these people.
The unfortunate words of a few – in this case a single talk show host – have been blown up to mean that the entire left is in full agreement with him. This shows a complete disregard for the many racist remarks of the “right” – including this recent interview with radical-right talk show host G. Gordon Liddy where he expresses his admiration for Hitler.
So now, not only can no one in his staff be critical of bush, but no one can be critical of any of his staff, as long as they are people of color. What would truly be racist is to condone someone’s actions solely on the basis of the color of their skin.
