Clinton-bashing in 2004!
I find it fairly amazing the amount of Clinton-bashing that is still going on these days by the “right” (see http://www.freerepublic.com/ ).
I can’t quite figure out why they are so angry at him. It seems to all stem from the fact that he lied about getting blow-jobs, so I guess it’s just that they’re jealous ‘cause they aren’t getting any!
I can’t imagine that any of these people – if they are married or in a relationship – would NOT lie about having sex with another woman!
The only other explanation is that he did such a great job as president that he makes their current guy look so bad in comparison!
Apparently the only lie that is an impeachable offense is lying about sex! Lying about the reason for taking our country to war and murdering thousands of innocents is fine! The same must go for lying about the economy, the environment, taxes, civil rights, women’s rights, gay rights, the military, the success of the war, etc etc etc....
We’re the ones that should be angry at Clinton – if not for him getting caught with his cigars where they shouldn’t be, Gore would obviously have won in 2000 by a landslide and we wouldn’t be in the disastrous situation that we are now!
So, these people should be grateful and thank Clinton! Unless they simply enjoyed having a Democrat in the White House so that they could bash him unmercifully!
