no official apology for lying

Rep. Wilson: No second apology for `You lie' words

WASHINGTON – Rep. Joe Wilson says he's not going to apologize on the House floor for yelling "You lie!" during the president's health care speech to Congress last week.

Democratic leaders plan to propose a resolution of disapproval this week if the South Carolina Republican doesn't apologize to Congress. That would put Congress on record as condemning Wilson's conduct.

Wilson says he called the White House after the speech Wednesday night and apologized. He says the White House accepted the apology and that's good enough for him.

Wilson says he still believe that President Barack Obama was misstating the facts when he said illegal immigrants would not qualify for government health care.

Of course, no article on this matter has stated the fact that Wilson is the one who has been lying or that he should apologize for lying as well as for lowering the level of civility in this country to an almost unprecedented point.

Truly, sickeningly disgusting...
