Dems seek to play down role of public option idea

Only Dems would downplay a wildly popular plan in the hopes of appeasing repugs who will never vote for anything that a Dem proposes, no matter how popular.
Repugs, on the other hand, will continue to push wildly UNpopular plans down our throats and tell us to like it and the Dems will simply say "yessir, may I have another".
I wish the Dems would finally remember who won the election.
