There is no way in the world that O'Reilly actually believes that the press would be complicit with a Democratic leader. He's just trying to scare his base again and hope that they're as stupid as he acts like they are.
Regardless, the press is just supposed to report the news in any case, and only take sides in opinion pieces. Unfortunately, that hasn't happened for years with our unabashedly conservative media.
