This post is pretty hilarious - some nutcase repug thinks that Obama making sense and stating facts (while being grilled with questions that Karl Rove could have written) is a negative, while McCain stating the same old lies is a good thing!
Yes, more troops on the ground meant a decrease in violence - Obama readily admits that and frequently praises the troops' performance. But, that was not supposed to be the be-all and end-all of the "surge". Now, if the Iraqi government will start to step up and meet some of the guidelines that are expected of them, then there will be some success.
Oh yes, and this is the video in which CBS graciously "corrects" McCain so that he doesn't look quite as out of touch as he really is.
Ah, our "liberal media"...Man, I would love to see an interview that treats Obama the same as McCain for once...
