Female airman won't face court-martial

RALEIGH, N.C. - The Air Force has dropped a criminal indecency charge filed against a female airman who refused to testify against another airman she accused of raping her, her lawyer said Friday.
---
The 20-year-old had been scheduled for a Sept. 24 court-martial, where she faced up to a year in prison and dismissal from the Air Force.

She instead pleaded guilty to underaged drinking and received a nonjudicial punishment, Eason said.

In May 2006, Hernandez reported she had been raped by three airmen during an alcohol-fueled barracks gathering. One of the airmen was charged with rape. But after initially helping prosecutors, Hernandez declined to cooperate further.

Hernandez's attorneys believe the Air Force charged her with underage drinking and committing an indecent act — having sex in the presence of others — in retaliation for her decision not to testify.

Three male airmen she accused of rape received nonjudicial punishment for indecent acts, and were granted immunity to testify at Hernandez's trial, according to Air Force legal documents.

OK, this literally makes me sick.
This woman was raped by 3 men and SHE was charged with an "indecent act"?!?!

I honestly hope that every male involved in this is killed viciously in the line of duty....
