A Washington state initiative filed by a same-sex marriage advocacy group “would require heterosexual couples to have kids within three years or else have their marriage annulled.” Authors of the measure acknowledged the initiative was “absurd” but hoped the idea prompts “discussion about the many misguided assumptions” about same-sex marriage.
