WASHINGTON - President Bush cautioned Tuesday that the foiled plot in Britain to blow up jetliners over the Atlantic is evidence the U.S. could be fighting terrorists for years to come.

Of course, the "not safe" part is completely true - mostly due to bush - but the "safer" is patently false, as anyone with a brain knows. We are far less safe due to bush and his policies and due to the fact that he has done nothing to actually fight terrorists and plenty to create new ones.
