but not enough to raise the threat level

Bush: Bin Laden Should Be Taken Seriously
FORT MEADE, Md. - President Bush, defending the government's secret surveillance program, said Wednesday that Americans should take Osama bin Laden seriously when he says he's going to attack again.

---
"Be very afraid! Be so damn afraid that you will beg me to take away your rights! I'm going to go ahead and do whatever I damn well please no matter what, but it's nice to have the illusion that I'm doing it for a reason!"
If he is a serious threat, then maybe we should try to - oh i dunno - get him maybe?!?!?!
If his threats are serious, maybe we should - oh i dunno - prepare ourselves this time?!?
Spying on Americans does not help make us safer. We would be safer if we were fighting al Qaida, instead of Iraqis and instead of creating more terrorists in Iraq.
What a freakin' clown.....
