Yet another headache for the Bug Man

Texas prosecutor Ronnie Earle has issued subpoenas for bank records related to the California defense contractors who are under investigation for bribery in the Duke Cunnigham scandal and who also gave money to the DeLay political slush fund. Earle has also requested documents about a previous court settlement that DeLay had with a former business partner. If the Bug Man was hoping to move on quickly, he was sadly mistaken because even after all of this is settled there is still the other problem of Jack Abramoff to deal with.
