DeLay threatens everyone!

Via Think Progress :

DeLay just released this statement:
Mrs. Schiavo's death is a moral poverty and a legal tragedy.

This loss happened because our legal system did not protect the people who need protection most, and that will change. The time will come for the men responsible for this to answer for their behavior, but not today. Today we grieve, we pray, and we hope to God this fate never befalls another. Our thoughts and prayers are with the Schindlers and with Terri Schiavo's friends in this time of deep sorrow.

Make no mistake about it: Tom DeLay, our Majority Leader, is now threatening judges, doctors and Terri Schiavo's husband.

This man is crazy! When he he be put away?!
Obviously, this can interpreted as saying they will answer for this in another world, but there are certainly plenty of loons in this world that will respond to this incendiary rhetoric.
I suppose he also means that one day he will have to answer for "murdering" his own father? Maybe he's conveniently putting that behind him!

Kennedy Asks DeLay to Renounce Violence

by Joe in DC - 4/1/2005 10:41:00 AM
Senator Kennedy called DeLay on his remarks about judges and asked him to
renounce violence, AP reports:
"I'm not sure what Mr. DeLay meant when he said 'the time will come for the men responsible for this to answer for their behavior,'" the Massachusetts Democrat said in a written statement. "But at a time when emotions are running high, Mr. DeLay needs to make clear that he is not advocating violence against anyone."

His spokesperson gave some convoluted response, but still waiting for DeLay himself to respond. DeLay's silence on violence speaks volumes.

Note to other Democrats in Congress: Don't let DeLay off the hook on this one. You should all be DEMANDING that DeLay renounce violence.

UPDATE: RawStory.com has a very strong letter from Senator Lautenberg to DeLay....says DeLay may have violated Federal Statutes prohibiting threats to Federal Judges.
