Yes, a lot more should have happened and could have happened, but many good things did come of this Democratic majority.
Let's see how badly the repugs f'k it all up in the new year.

Of course, if everything that was accomplished during the "lame duck" session had happened before the election, the Dems would never have lost - which, of course, is why the repugs didn't let any of this happen then. But, if the Dems had really pushed, November would have been totally different.
