Not that public opinion has anything to do with foreign policy, but isn't it too bad that people hadn't decided that this was a bad idea years and years ago, so that we could have stopped wasting vast amounts of money and lives?

We're finally starting to get out of bush's Iraq folly, hopefully this one will be next.
