Palin's words again not jiving with McCain's

Palin says McCain will protect Social Security

NEW PORT RICHEY, Fla. – Republican vice presidential nominee Sarah Palin assured elderly voters on Saturday that John McCain would protect Social Security and Medicare benefits and accused his Democratic rival of stoking fear and worry about the entitlement programs.

"Florida, will you hire us?" Palin, the Alaska governor, asked a cheering crowd of several thousand at a sunny riverfront park.

Palin said that McCain is the only presidential candidate who can keep taxes low, fix the broken economy, balance the federal budget in his first term and win the war in Iraq. His opponent, Barack Obama, is committed to raising taxes and growing government, she said, and called Obama's economic plan "phony."

McCain & Palin are making unrealistic promises, especially considering that they seem to have no real plans for doing any of these things. McCain has supported privatizing Social Security and we know now how well that would work! McCain has also talked about cutting Medicaid and Medicare, so I would think that people in Florida would care about that!

So, once again, Obama speaks the truth about McCain's plans and they lies about Obama. Once again proving that lies are all they have...
