I know he was joking, but he couldn't be more accurate as to how most of us feel at being saddled with bush as president for the last 8 years and having his surrogate, McCain, on the ticket this year.

If life was fair we would have 4 qualified candidates for president and VP instead of only 2. And if life was fair, there wouldn't be a divide in the country and people wouldn't be making decisions on the next president for stupid, personal reasons and Barack would be in a landslide position right now.

But, no, life isn't fair...
