this is actually kinda sad

John McCain returned to the campaign trail on Monday, only this time without his popular vice presidential pick, Sarah Palin. The results were somewhat less than enthusiastic. As reported by MSNBC's First Read, the Republican presidential nominee addressed a crowd of roughly 3,000 people in a stadium that seats 16,000.

But it just goes to show that their campaign is now totally about celebrity - and a pathetic one, at that - and nothing to do with McCain or his policies.
Apparently, Palin - the single speech celebrity who, as far as we can tell, knows nothing whatsoever about this country or any other - has drawn twice as many people as McCain!
What a f'k'd up mess of a campaign!
Will people really vote for Palin?
