bin Laden succeeded beyond his wildest dreams

This isn't the first time I've said this, but on this sad anniversary, it is important to remember the many failures of this administration and how they have contributed to bin Laden's great success.

By waiting until there was a pathetic, weak, little neo-con in office (instead of attacking while Clinton or Gore were president), bin Laden was able to make bush follow his every lead and react exactly how he wished - or even better.

Because of bin Laden's attack, Americans were too cowardly and weak to stop bush from taking away our rights and liberties (which is what makes America the country that it is), from destroying our reputation in the world, from starting unprovoked and unwarranted wars, from strengthening al Qaida, from destroying our economy and on and on.

I don't think that even bin Laden could have anticipated the level of his success. It is enough to make some people think that bin Laden and bush worked together on this, since they both won so much and our country has been the loser.

We can only hope that the American public has become wiser over the years and won't be fooled again by moronic chest-bumping. Maybe we can finally defeat bin Laden and what he has done to our country and become America again.
