another realization

After watching the vile attacks and blatant lies last night and the complete lack of substance, along with the moronic, repeated chanting of "usa,usa" and "drill baby drill", i realized the real differences between the parties these days.

The Democrats want to have serious conversations about serious issues and offer serious solutions. Apparently, not treating Americans as complete foolish idiots means that they are "elitest".

The repugs have proven themselves to be the party of the meatheads. The drunken, obnoxious assholes that everyone makes fun of - the clowns from the frat who chant "chug, chug, chug" or "show me your tits" (I was surprised that Palin didn't get that one!) while being completely clueless about everything around them. Their simplistic, jingoistic repetition of tired cliches just made them seem even stupider. Is this really what they think is the average American? If so, may their imaginary god help us all!
