Republicans in US House will devote this week to banning the eating of horses, or something

I'm not kidding. This is their legislative priority for the week. Forget about finding Osama or figuring out what the hell to do with Iraq. Forget about astronomical gas prices and the shaky economy. The Republicans who control congress think the most important issue facing Americans this week is horse meat.
