because apparently 1% is too much

USDA scales back mad-cow testing

WASHINGTON - The Agriculture Department is scaling back its testing program for mad cow disease to one-tenth of what it has been since the discovery of an infected cow in the U.S.

Our current level is 1% and they want to cut that to 1/10th of 1%!
I guess that shows how much this administration cares about the American public.
Good thing I don't eat beef!!
