well, duh!

Schools may ban hurtful T-shirt slogans
SAN FRANCISCO (Reuters) - Public schools can bar clothing with slogans that are hurtful, a U.S. appeals court ruled Thursday in the case of a student who wore a T-shirt saying "Homosexuality is shameful."

Free speech does not extend to harassment - this one was a no-brainer, and obviously, the person wearing the shirt is also a no-brainer!
Why do bigots think that they have the right to say or do anything, no matter how hateful or hurtful, but others don't have a right to simply exist?
