I was going to say that the repugs might want to pick someone who wasn't mired in scandal, but since they can only choose a republican, that would be pretty difficult these days!
I have literally never seen anything like this before - apparently the entire republican party is completely and totally corrupt and all members are all involved in illegal activities.
I'm beginning to wonder if it is even possible to clean up this cesspool, even if anyone was trying to do so. It is so pervasive that it seems like the repugs would have to get rid of everyone and start from scratch!
