repugs: anything to avoid the truth

From Think Progress:

Why Conservatives Can’t Believe Bush Is Unpopular

The popular right-wing blog Ankle Biting Pundits has a post claiming the new AP poll — which found Bush’s approval rating at 42 percent — is inaccurate. Here is one
piece of the “evidence”
:

Question D14 is curious, too. 14% of respondents make less that $15,000 per year?

Actually, this is exactly what you’d expect from a poll that reflected an accurate cross-section of the American public. In 2003, according to the Census Bureau, 20 percent of households earned $17, 984 or less.

This is precisely the problem with many conservatives. They can’t understand why Bush is unpopular, because they don’t understand how many people are struggling.

All of the "evidence" actually defines a pretty accurate cross section of the American public. I guess that the repugs just can't believe that the people who have been getting screwed by this administration for the past 4-5 years are actually waking up!
