See Americablog for a comprehensive review of Katrina coverage, including bush's failures in coordinating help and his budget cuts for relief efforts for these areas, as well as the fact that work cannot be done in a timely manner because of the fact that so many of the National Guard is in Iraq!
Top it off with the fact that bush continued on his record-breaking vacation while all this death and destruction was taking place and while the media announced that he was "cutting his vacation short", they didn't mention that he was cutting it by ONE DAY, and that was several days AFTER the hurricane hit! Almost as bad as the fact that the media would constantly refer to his 5 week vacation as a "month-long" break. Damn that "liberal media"!
