This synopsis of a new comic book is so wacky and nonsensical that it sounds like a parody, though I'm afraid that it is not. As a comic book lover, I am pretty offended by this intrusion of conservative insanity into what is usually a sane, liberal media that has normally rallied behind issues such as civil rights, women's rights, peace and belief in a better world.
The described "Orwellian nightmare of ultra-liberalism" is a world based on extremely anti-liberal views - weak foreign policies, complete control of citizen's bodies & minds, censorship, and simply bizarre non-sequitors! If anyone honestly believes that anything about this has any relation to liberals, then they need some serious help! This sounds much more like the current wackjob conservative administration than anything that any liberal would come up with!
