bush's "successes"

From Bob Harris :

59 former U.S. diplomats from the last six administrations -- Nixon, Ford, Carter, Reagan, Bush the Slightly Saner, and Clinton -- have signed an open letter condemning the nomination of John Bolton, a man who is on record condemning the United Nations, as America's new UN ambassador.

We can add this to previous, similar open letters from:
49 U.S. generals and admirals, criticizing Bush's emphasis on missile defense

650 foreign affairs experts, insisting Bush's Iraq war will only create more terrorism

60 top scientists, including 20 Nobel laureates, tired of Bush's constant distortion of science

169 leading economists, explaining why Bush's economic policies cannot work long-term

36 leading pediatricians, condemning the Bush record on child care

300 groups including people from 56 countries, criticizing Bush's stance on UN HIV-control policy

9 major human rights groups, condemning Bush's record on torture

10 former CIA staffers, demanding a full Congressional investigation of the Plame leak

and so on. Over and over, people with direct knowledge and experience are appalled whenever Bush touches their world.

I remain convinced that no one on Earth can possibly be this consistently, nonsensically incompetent regarding virtually every issue by accident.

This isn't a government. It's Dada performance art.
