Before the game, ABC showed the actress and the Philadelphia Eagles star in an empty locker room in an attempt to spoof the network hit "Desperate Housewives.'' Sheridan, who stars in the show, was wearing only a towel and provocatively asked Owens to skip the game for her.

Man, this is even more absurd that the big stink about J. Jackson's "wardrobe malfunction"! This is completely innocent and silly and something that is shown millions of times every day on TV. I cannot believe that football-watching lunks would object to the suggestion of a naked, pretty woman. Maybe they were complaining because they couldn't see anything?! I guess watching guys in tight pants grab each other's asses is ok, but a woman's naked back is not!

Lighten up, people - it was a skit! How far back in time are we going to go?!

PSS - Just looked at cnn.com and their headline is "ABC apologizes for nudity on NFL show"! Maybe they're just trying to get people to read the story, but, this is hardly nudity!!
